Cheesesteak of Suffering

About a year ago my fearless leader, Matt Kresge, passed along a widget for me to install on my PC. He sent me to http://www.hockeywidgets.com/widgets/cheesesteak.php and I was all over it! Having a widget stare me in the face ALL day letting me know that we are approaching 10 thousand days since the last championship in Philly-Phill is somthing only a philly fan would understand. As an E-A-G-L-E-S fan I wear my teams misery on my sleeve like badge of honor. In my eyes the disappoinment I have suffered from this team gives me the right to be obnoxious, irrational, annoying, you get the point. Well last week it dawned on me “What will happen to my cheesesteak if the phillies pull this off”. When the phillies pulled off the impossible Wednesday night I was pumped to get into work and see what happens to my beloved lard sandwich. Will it start over? Will it blow up? Will Andy Reid eat it? To my disappoinment NOTHING happened. It was still counting. These programmers never thought it would have to do anything else but count obvioulsy so I deleted it from my PC. Well today I found out that they are updating it now for the parade with a “WE WON”. The only problem here is that I am NOT a phillies fan!!!! I am still suffering and I dont even have my cheesesteak anymore. One more disappoinment as an Eagle fan. At least I can stay miserable!
